The Dinner Party will take place on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Cathedral High School's Banquet Hall, located at 7726 Westview Drive, Houston, TX 77055. We will gather to revel in the words of Louis Markos, Ph.D., the Scholar in Residence and Robert H. Ray Chair in Humanities at Houston Christian University.
Often featured in the pages of The Imaginative Conservative, Christianity Today, Touchstone, and American Arts Quarterly, Dr. Markos is the author of twenty-five books. He travels the globe to give presentations on classical education, and is famous for his classes on Dante, Tolkien, and C.S. Lewis, among others. Dr. Markos will share his thoughts on how to create a Culture of Beauty anchored by the Christian virtues, with the foremost goal of reaching God. To learn more about Dr. Markos, click here.
