Teach Creative Writing to Students 3rd through 12th Levels
Catholic Literary Arts (CLA) is looking for experienced classroom teachers in the elementary, middle school, or high school levels. The teachers we hire will be enthusiastic about being in the classroom and skilled at classroom management.
Your goal will be to grow children in writing skills, thereby building confidence. We will focus on creative writing as a process that includes brainstorming, getting ideas on paper, incorporating figurative language, and polishing our written pieces. We seek to do this by connecting children to the joy of using the imagination and expressing their creativity in language.
One of our hallmarks is that we are faithful Catholic educators who further God's mission on earth. Thus, we all are Safe Haven-certified (previously called "Virtus"). Those of us who teach during Fearless Catholic Writing® Camp must also have the state-required Minors On Campus training which we facilitate.
In-service is required for one half-day to acquire our methodology.
